One wonder why we need another blog bearing the name of late Mallam Aminu Kano.After all Aminu Kano had so many places and organization named after him.Aminu Kano is a national icon, nay we need icons most particulary now and for the post- Aminu -Kano -generation who are supposed to have inherited a beautiful country and great legacies, yet we live in times where we have every sort of natural blessings yet lack everything ,to our own tragedy.Nigeria needs leadership and lacks leadership:our vessels is been tossed by an angry storm in an un charted waters.Aminu Kano and his mentor Sa'adu Zungur formed similar discussion group in Bauchi during the colonial times around the1950s(Bauchi discussion group),which had significant effect on the latters career in partisan politics.
With this brief introduction, i welcome all and sundry to this blog most particularly those who believe in the project called Nigeria.Please feel free to post your opinions in forms of prose,poems and video.However, i think is pertinent to look at Nigeria at fifty;the journey so far and also the plight of Nigerians following ongoing doctors strike and any other thing under the sun.Welcome
